By their very natures, cars and household or personal effects 

must be handled with extreme care, in order to avoid damage.

It necessarily follows that only experience persons are allowed to handle your goods. The service that we provide, can be adapted, dependent upon your circumstances and or requirements. We also readily understand that no two moves are exactly the same. To demonstrate our ability to be flexibile, we have included a list of the important elements to the move so that you can decide what best suits you.

Motor Cars

1. Containerised

• This is not reccommend but we are able to deliver the empty container to you and you secure the vehicle inside.
• You deliver the car to our nominated warehouse and we arrange for it to be loaded and secured inside the container.
• We collect the car from you and take it to our nominated warehouse for loading.
• In all cases, we will attend to the customs formalities and shipping documentation.

At Destination, we will notify you and / or your representative of the pending arrival, at which time you can ask them to:

• Assist with the customs formalities.
• Arrange clearance with the authorities yourself.
• Appoint your own customs broker.

Often, the customs authorities will require to make a physical inspection of the car, at the port. On this basis, it is iusual to either collect the car yourself or appoint someone to do this for you.

2. RORO - Roll On Roll Off

This method is to ship your vehicle loose, in what is basically, an ocean going car ferry. The options for getting the car to the port are exactly the same as above. Once at the port, the carrier recevies your car, takes it to the holding area and then drives it on to the ship, where it is secured to the deck, prior to departure. Cars are always shipped under deck and never exposed to the elements. 

Household and Personal Effects

At your house

• You can make the inventory, obtain the boxes and packing materials and pack the items yourself.
• You can make the inventory, obtain the boxes for the small items that you are comfortable packing and pack them
• You can appoint a qualified packer in your area to either pack at your house or remove some / all of your possessions for packing at his premises. He will produce the inventory and condition report.
• We can appoint a qualified packer in your area to pack as appropriate and produce the inventory and condition report.
• You can deliver to us.
• We can collect from you.
• In cases where a full container is required, we can supply you with the container for you to load or we can collect the goods and load the container for you.
• We will attend to the customs paperwork and shipping documents.

At destination

It works the same way as for cars but in nearly all circumstances, the customs authorities will require to make a physical examination of your goods, which sometimes results in what is known as a "full out-turn." Basically, they have the right to open and go through every package.
